How Our Institutional Pricing Works
Monogramme uses a published, tiered institutional pricing model to ensure fairness, transparency, and pricing integrity across all partners. Our programmes are licensed to institutions as complete teaching packages, not priced per individual learner. Each tier represents a full institutional licence that includes the required materials, educator resources, and delivery rights for that cohort size.
Why We Use Licence Tiers
Institutions adopt programmes in cohorts, not headcounts. A licence tier reflects the operational reality of teaching: tutorial groups, course sections, programme intakes, and delivery teams. This approach ensures that every institution receives a complete, ready‑to‑deliver package with consistent pricing and no hidden levers.
Textbook Discounts
To support equitable access and reduce institutional overhead, Monogramme applies deep, fixed book discounts within each package. These discounts are fully transparent and incorporated into the package price. Institutions may allocate these texts as they deem appropriate – including holding spares for faculty, future cohorts, or academic continuity.
Fixed Tiers, No Pro‑Rating
To maintain equity across institutions, Monogramme does not pro‑rate or discount within tiers. Institutions select the tier (or combination of tiers) that covers their expected cohort size. This ensures consistent pricing, eliminates negotiation asymmetry, and protects the integrity of our academic partnerships.
Scaling Beyond 100 Learners
For institutions with larger cohorts, Monogramme offers incremental scaling in blocks of 100 learners. This approach maintains predictable pricing, governance‑ready transparency, and alignment with the same principles that underpin our published tiers. Enterprise‑level licensing adjusts only the learner count – never the integrity of the model.
Facilitator Guide Scaling
Facilitator guides scale non‑linearly to reflect real institutional delivery patterns. Beyond 100 learners, facilitator capacity increases in predictable increments. This ensures institutions have the flexibility to support multi‑section delivery, adjunct rotation, and academic continuity without over‑provisioning or compromising pricing integrity.
Download Stewardship
To maintain equitable access and protect the integrity of institutional licensing, facilitator guides and curriculum guides include reasonable download limits aligned to licensed facilitator capacity. These limits support normal academic operations while preventing redistribution beyond the licensed cohort.
Why We Don’t Negotiate Individual Discounts
Our pricing is designed to be ethical, predictable, and governance‑ready. By publishing our institutional tiers and applying them consistently, we avoid the opaque, ad‑hoc discounting practices common in the sector. This protects institutions from price variance, ensures parity across partners, and reinforces our commitment to transparent educational stewardship.
